Behind the Scenes of PSLE Chinese Tuition: How Our Worksheets Are Designed

At Tien Hsia, preparing for the PSLE goes beyond drilling and memorisation. Every worksheet used is the result of a meticulous process involving collaboration, research, and classroom testing. From content creation to teacher review and final printing, each worksheet is purposefully crafted to help students meet the latest MOE syllabus requirements while strengthening their skills in composition, comprehension, oral, and listening.

We begin by identifying common learning gaps and exam trends. From there, our curriculum team develops exercises that focus on specific techniques. Worksheets are tested in the classroom, refined based on real-time student feedback, and only then finalised for full use. It’s this cycle of thoughtful creation and continuous improvement that makes our PSLE Chinese tuition both structured and student-focused.

Sonia Tan

Sent my K1 and K2 kids here and they really enjoyed the classes. Prepares them well for primary school and most importantly, teachers are friendly and takes good care of them

Matthew Khng

Specialist Mandarin enrichment centre. Most of their educators are native speakers, which is indispensable when it comes to improving the linguistic capabilities of their students. Fees are fairly reasonable too. They appear to cater between pre-nursery to secondary levels, though it differs between branches.

The teachers and staff are super friendly and are well trained to handle the kids. My 3-year old daughter is reluctant to enter the centre on most occasions. Somehow, this particular staff, Elaine/Eline (not sure of the spelling) always have a way to get my daughter to go into the class willingly. Elaine/Eline is so caring, patient and gentle when she deals with my daughter. Thanks, Elaine/Eline!

We send our son to tien Hsia because they are specialise in teaching mandarin. My son started class at the age of 3 . Tong Tong Lao Shi is good at teaching him , he learns very quickly and well. The whole team takes good care of the kids , helping the new children starting lessons there adapt to the new environment. We are very happy with our son’s progress .

Thia Jonathan

My boy has been with the N1 class for a few months and I’ve seen huge improvements in his ability to speak and recognise chinese words.

Getting my boy acquainted with the chinese language had been a challenge at home initially as we mostly communicate in english at home.

After some classes, he has gotten more comfortable with the language and even told us that his favourite teacher was his teacher from Tien Hsia.

Recommended.
